Approach
I have a belief that we are all innately wise and that by attuning physically, mentally, and emotionally to ourselves, we create wholeness and thrive. And when we center how our identities, lineages, contexts, and upbringing impact our experiences and influence our perceptions of the world, we not only gain compassion, but clarity about steps forward. Therapy can support you in all of this.

If you are feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, uncertain, or longing for something unnamed, these feelings are not flaws; they are important doors and they are threshold moments.

I have a deep interest in helping people explore and heal projections/stories they have in relationship to themselves and others and truly thrive in deep and authentic connection. I sincerely believe that through this work, we can collectively heal our ourselves and our culture, which often struggles in disconnection.
My intention is always to genuinely understand who you are so that you feel unconditionally accepted and seen. Together, we can collaboratively explore the deeper aspects yourself, your values, and issues you need support with. What hidden parts of you and your experience can we uncover together and center as you journey through your different phases and stages? How can we invite your mind, body, and spirit into the space as messengers?
I offer a variety of modalities for overcoming dysfunctional patterns (with yourself and others), depression, anxiety, chronic and acute trauma, transitions, and grief, while cultivating self-compassion. Much of my research has predominantly focused on child abuse, neglect, and trauma; the impacts of adverse childhood experiences in adulthood, particularly in relationships and while parenting; shame & self-compassion; and effective, evidence-based strategies for step-families and blended families.
I love working with people who have not been able to find help and are ready to heal, and I appreciate the open-heartedness, tenacity, and honesty it requires. Life is complicated, relationships are nuanced, and we were not built to traverse these winding paths alone. I love moments when we come back to our roots and build unexpected connection in times of need.

May we all heal our wounds. And may our wounds become our gifts.

“The doors to the world of the wild Self are few but precious. If you have a deep scar, that is a door. If you have an old, old story, that is a door. If you love the sky and the water so much, you almost cannot bear it, that is a door. If you yearn for a deeper life,
a full life, a sane life, that is a door.”
